What to look out for in 2016

Gram have lots of exciting things to look out for in 2016. The success of the Go Green Debate this year means we will return again with new topics and new panellists, starting with the first live webinar at Hotelympia in February. 


-         Gram will exhibit at one of the most significant hospitality and food shows in the world, Gulfood. Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre between 21st and 25th February, Gram will join 5,000 exhibitors participating from over 120 countries.

-         The Go Green Debate will return to Hotelympia on 29th February 2016 with a live webinar on the future of sustainability. Panellists confirmed for the webinar include Dominic Burbridge, associate director at The Carbon Trust, Kate Gould, managing director of Keg Catering Consults and James Sharmen, energy manager at Mitchells and Butlers.


-         The EU Ecodesign Directive will come into force on 1st July 2016. These new labelling regulations mean that customers can now have a measuring system to benchmark energy costs, ultimately benefiting the industry by requiring new innovation and taking inefficient products off the market.

-         The second in the series of Go Green Debate webinars for 2016 will be in July where we look forward to discussing the latest issues affecting the industry.


-         Following the success of the last Go Green Summit in October this year, The Go Green Summit will return in September 2016. We look forward to introducing a new line up of speakers who will discuss current sustainability trends and the EU Ecodesign Directive as well as launching the much anticipated Gram Green Paper 2016.
