Gram finish 2015 on a high

Finishing the year as they started, Gram scooped their ninth award of the year at the Catering Insight awards this month as they were announced as winner of the Supplier of the Year, Sustainability Award for the SUPERIORPLUS 72.

Coming as no surprise, the SUPERIORPLUS 72 has surpassed industry expectations with its ground-breaking technology and revolutionary design. The improvements to design mean that the SUPERIORPLUS 72 is 44 percent more efficient than its ‘best in class’ predecessor. Energy use and running costs have reduced dramatically from 509 kWh a year to 285kWh, meaning the average operator can expect to spend only £28.50 per year on the SUPERIORPLUS 72 based on a rate of 10p kWh.

Gram’s SUPERIORPLUS 72 was shortlisted against fierce competition including Brita Professional, Winterhalter, Hobart Warewash and First Choice Environmental Solutions. However, Gram took victory as their sustainable ethos excelled the competition with a product that provides operators with the most sustainable refrigeration on the market.

Glenn Roberts, managing director at Gram UK, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded the Supplier of the Year, Sustainability Award. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. This award is a real testament to everything we have achieved this year, validating all the great work we do in the factory right through to the sales, marketing and research and development teams – we are all incredibly proud”.
